Question 1

What is VouchWall?

Accepted Answer

VouchWall is a video testimonial platform that helps you collect, manage, and display authentic customer testimonials. It's designed to make video testimonials as easy as possible—no technical skills required. You can collect videos through custom forms, manage them in a centralized dashboard, and display them beautifully on your website using embeddable widgets.

Question 2

How do I get started with VouchWall?

Accepted Answer

Getting started is simple: 1) Sign up for a free account, 2) Create your first 'Space' (collection form), 3) Share the form link with your customers, 4) Once testimonials come in, create a widget to display them on your website. The entire setup takes less than 10 minutes.

Question 3

What is a Space?

Accepted Answer

A Space is a collection form where customers can submit video or text testimonials. Think of it as a dedicated landing page for each product, service, or campaign. You can have multiple Spaces for different purposes (e.g., one for Product A, another for Service B).

Question 4

Do my customers need an account to submit testimonials?

Accepted Answer

No! Your customers don't need to create an account or log in. They simply visit your custom form link, record their testimonial (or upload a video), and submit. It's completely frictionless for them.

Question 5

What are the limitations of the free plan?

Accepted Answer

The free plan includes 1 Space, up to 10 testimonials, and basic widgets. You'll have VouchWall branding on your collection forms and widgets. For unlimited Spaces, testimonials, and to remove branding, upgrade to the Pro plan.

Question 6

How do customers record video testimonials?

Accepted Answer

Customers can record directly in their browser using their webcam and microphone—no downloads or apps required. They can also upload pre-recorded videos from their phone or computer. We support common video formats like MP4, MOV, and WebM.

Question 7

What are the video quality and size limits?

Accepted Answer

Free plan: Up to 5 minutes per video, 720p quality, 500MB file size. Pro plan: Up to 10 minutes per video, 1080p quality, 2GB file size. Enterprise plan: Custom limits available. All videos are automatically optimized for web playback.

Question 8

Can I edit videos after they're submitted?

Accepted Answer

You can't edit videos directly, but you can trim the start and end, add captions, adjust playback settings, and manage metadata. For major edits, we recommend editing the video externally and re-uploading it.

Question 9

How do I request testimonials from customers?

Accepted Answer

Share your Space's unique URL via email, social media, or directly in your app. We also provide customizable email templates you can send to customers. Pro plan includes automated email campaigns and follow-up reminders.

Question 10

Can I approve testimonials before they're displayed?

Accepted Answer

Yes! All testimonials are in 'pending' status by default. You must manually approve them before they appear in your widgets. You can also reject, archive, or request edits.

Question 11

Can I import existing testimonial videos?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! You can upload existing video testimonials directly to any Space. Simply drag and drop video files or paste YouTube/Vimeo URLs. We'll process and store them for you.

Question 12

What is a Widget?

Accepted Answer

A Widget is an embeddable testimonial display that you add to your website. It can show video testimonials in various layouts (grid, carousel, wall). Widgets are fully customizable to match your brand's look and feel.

Question 13

How do I embed a widget on my website?

Accepted Answer

After creating a widget, you'll get a simple embed code (a single line of HTML). Copy and paste it anywhere on your website. Works with all major platforms: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, and custom HTML sites.

Question 14

Can I customize how widgets look?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can customize colors, fonts, layout, borders, spacing, and more. Pro plan unlocks advanced customization including custom CSS, dark mode, and branded player controls.

Question 15

Can I create multiple widgets?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can create unlimited widgets even on the free plan. Each widget can display testimonials from one or multiple Spaces, with different layouts and customizations.

Question 16

Will widgets slow down my website?

Accepted Answer

No. Our widgets are optimized for performance. They load asynchronously and use lazy loading for videos, so they won't impact your page speed. We also serve assets via a global CDN for fast loading worldwide.

Question 17

Are widgets mobile-responsive?

Accepted Answer

Yes! All widgets are fully responsive and optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop. Video players adapt to screen size and touch controls work perfectly on mobile devices.
